Cabinet Bloc

Gaëlle Lauriot-Prévost, Dominique Perrault, and the Liaigre Studio have collaborated to create a new bookshelf, «Bloc», now part of the Liaigre catalog. Building on the furniture originally designed in 1995 for the Bibliothèque nationale de France, the «Bloc» bookshelf reimagines this concept at a domestic scale in a fully modular format. Its minimalist system and clean lines resonate with Liaigre’s aesthetic, which seamlessly blends design with sustainable and timeless modernity. With its extensive adaptability, «Bloc» offers nearly limitless customization options, including variations in depth, width, wood tones, and grains, enabling each individual to craft a uniquely personalized bookshelf. This new addition to the Liaigre collection is already a standout creation.
