Liaigre sets up its international headquarters at the heart of the Left Bank, where it was founded 35 years ago in Paris.

The Haussmann building brings together for the first time in the history of the house all the Liaigre teams that make up its major businesses: the Studio headed by Frauke Meyer and composed of 25 interior designers and the Design Service of Déborah Comte-Liaigre, in charge of the interior decoration projects, the 26 Liaigre showrooms in the world and accessories collections.

Liaigre has invited the Franco-Belgian artist Mathieu Bonardet to its right bank address. In his work, draftsmanship centers around primary physical action and material: drawing lines with graphite. These repetitive lines are both corporeal and temporal inscriptions of the artist’s gesture.

Together, the two companies have collaborated to create a co-branded saddle: the Rythme saddle, crafted from Liaigre’s nubuck leather and hand-weaved leather, with bronze stirrups also designed and produced by Liaigre.
